New York City and the Caribbean – October-November 2025

Days 5, 6, & 7 – At Sea

After three great but jam-packed days in New York Wednesday through Friday, followed by sail away, unpacking and settling in, we looked forward to three, restful sea days on Sunday through Tuesday.

While the sea days were indeed restful, they were also more eventful than we had anticipated.  On Sunday we attended the Meet & Greet of cruisers who joined the Facebook group for our sailing, and we were amazed at the attendance.  Typically from our experience, between 15 to 40 people show up for these events.  There must have been over 200 at this Meet & Greet, and most importantly, we met two people who will be lifelong friends, John and Sherri.

Here are two shots of us with John and Sherri – one at Iguana Joe’s restaurant in Aruba and the second with us all cleaned up for formal night.

The second significant event came on Monday, our second full sea day, with The 360 Experience.  360 is a very special meal served at a table in the round, and which excites every one of the senses – sight, sound, taste, smell, and touch.  The photos and videos below will give you a peek into the 360 experience, but I am not sharing anything that would take away from the experience if you want to enjoy it sometime in the future.
