Roberson Journeys began as a way to preserve memories from our travels – for us.  Over time it became something we wanted to share with family, friends, and anyone looking for ideas, practical information, or simply the enjoyment of exploring new places through someone else's experiences.

We live in Kentucky and have enjoyed traveling together throughout our marriage.  Having met in our mid 50s, we had a lot of catching up to do, and our first trips were relatively simple fun:  a car trip to Cumberland Falls to see the Moonbow, attending the Indy 500, and visiting Linda’s family in western Kentucky and Mike’s family in the deep south.

Our honeymoon in December 2008 opened a new and important chapter in our travel, as we embarked on our first cruise and loved it!  Since then we have cruised many more times, and we have also enjoyed other memorable trips to special destinations in North America.

Among the things we enjoy most when we travel are seeing new places, experiencing different cultures, eating at local restaurants, and, of course, meeting new friends. We have met many wonderful people along the way, and we have kept in touch with a number of them and still cherish their friendship years later.
